Directions - Map of Argentiere & Chamonix

Argentiere is located at the upper end of the Chamonix Valley in the Haute Savoie region of the French Alps, close to the border with both Switzerland and Italy.

The apartment is located close to the village amenities and the Grand Montets ski area. On the Google Map, the location of the apartment is indicated by the blue marker.

By Air
Geneva Airport is a little over an hour away and is an excellent hub for many inexpensive flights. A number of operators provide door to door Airport Transfers. Whilst a car is not essential for a stay in Chamonix, you may also wish to consider hiring a car at the airport.

By Road
The Chamonix Valley is easily reached via the motorway network and is on the Autoroute Blanche. It is possible to drive on motorway all the way from Calais to Chamonix. Journey times will naturally vary but 10 hours is generally (legally) possible.
